Source Code Files

File Viewer Plus opens source code files and supports syntax highlighting for dozens of programming languages, including popular languages such as C, C++, Java, XML, PHP, HTML, and CSS. Viewing options such as the syntax tree help navigate the structure of the code. Check or uncheck viewing options to toggle the syntax tree, line numbers, ruler, word wrap, and code folding.

Searching Source Code Files

To search within source code files, click the Find or use the keyboard shortcut Ctrl+F. The search window provides advanced options for finding text, including search by text, search by regular expression, and case sensitive search.

Saving Source Code Files

To save your file, choose File → Save from the application menu. If you choose File → Save As, you may also export the code to a Rich Text Format file (.rtf) or HTML output formats.
