What is a .J file?
J files store program source code written in the Java programming language. They are compiled into CLASS files, which make up an application. Java may be used to develop a variety of applications, including web apps and desktop programs that can run on multiple platforms using the Java Virtual Machine included with the free Java Runtime Environment. A J file may be one of many source files referenced within a project or it may include all the source code for a program.
If you are an app developer, you may have worked with J files, or JAVA files, which are more commonly used to store Java source code. File Viewer Plus comes with various features for navigating the source code, such as a syntax tree view, word wrap, code folding, ruler, and line numbers. After editing the source code you can save the J files to preserve the changes.
