What is a .CDG file?
CDG files are graphics files used with Compact Disc plus Graphics (CD+G) technology, which stores low-resolution graphics alongside audio on compatible compact discs. The format is best known for karaoke discs, where CDG data displays synchronized song lyrics, backgrounds, and simple animations while the accompanying audio track plays. CDG files may also contain the graphics extracted from a karaoke CD and are commonly paired with separate audio files, such as MP3 files.
