File Viewer Plus is a universal file viewer and converter that supports over 400 different types of files, including documents, spreadsheets, images, audio and video, and many more. With one program, you can view and convert hundreds of file types without installing any other software.

File Viewer Plus also comes with advanced editing and conversion features. It includes a professional-quality word processor, a spreadsheet editor, and an image editor. You can convert individual files or thousands of files at once using the built-in batch converter.

The application is also an advanced file utility. It includes a file information panel that displays file metadata for every file you open. The file inspector allows you to see the raw contents of any file text or hexadecimal format. In the rare case File Viewer Plus does not support a certain file format, the intelligent file identification algorithm provides as much information as possible about the file.

File Viewer Plus fully supports over 400 file formats, but it cannot view every file. When you open an unsupported file type in File Viewer Plus, the application will attempt to identify the file format using an advanced file identification algorithm. Additionally, you can use the file inspector to view the internal contents of every file, including file metadata.

Yes. File Viewer Plus supports all standard Microsoft Office file formats, including Word (.doc, .docx), Excel (.xls, .xlsx), and PowerPoint (.ppt, .pptx). Additionally, you can edit Word files using the built-in word processor and Excel files using the spreadsheet editor. You can save Office documents and export them to other formats.

Yes. You can try File Viewer Plus before you buy it. The 14-day, fully-functional trial allows you to use the program with all of its features for two weeks. After the 14 days, the trial ends and you must purchase File Viewer Plus if you wish to continue using the program. You will not be charged after the trial expires.

No. The 14-day trial is free and you do not have to cancel the trial if you do not wish to use File Viewer Plus anymore. The trial automatically expires after the 14 days and you will not be charged after it expires.

Two computers. Residential users can install FVP on two computers per household, while business users can install the software on two computers per user (such as a desktop and laptop). Please refer to the End User License Agreement (EULA) for further details.

File Viewer Plus supports 8 languages and automatically selects the language you have chosen for your operating system when you install the software. You can override default language selection in the program's settings by selecting File → Settings. Then choose your preferred language from the Language dropdown menu, and click OK.

The speed of the installation is dependent on your PC's configuration. The final step optimizes File Viewer Plus for your machine. This one-time process improves application load time and performance, but may take a few minutes to complete.

In order to activate File Viewer Plus, you must first purchase a license. For instructions on how to activate File Viewer Plus after purchase, click here.

If you lost your activation key, please check the purchase email sent to you after you bought File Viewer Plus. If you cannot find the email, please contact us with the name and email address you used to purchase the software, and we will retrieve your activation key.

Note: Activation keys are tied to a specific version of File Viewer Plus. For example, File Viewer Plus 5 activation keys only work with File Viewer Plus 5, not with File Viewer Plus 4.

To move your File Viewer Plus license to a new computer:

1. Deactivate your license on your current computer.
2. Download and install File Viewer Plus on the new computer.
3. Activate your license on your new computer using your activation key.

You can activate up to two different installations of File Viewer Plus at the same time. If you are unable to access an installation of File Viewer Plus to deactivate it, please contact us and supply your activation key so we can remotely reset it. After the key is reset, you will be able to activate two more installations of File Viewer Plus.

If you have reached your activation key limit, you must first deactivate one of your File Viewer Plus installations to free up one of your two allowable activations. If you are unable to deactivate any installations, please contact us and supply your key so that we can remotely reset it.

Yes. You can run both versions on your computer at the same time.

You can easily uninstall File Viewer Plus by opening the Windows 10 or Windows 11 "Apps & Features" Control Panel, selecting File Viewer Plus, and clicking "Uninstall". View the complete uninstall instructions here.
